It has been a great season for BC Freestyle skiers at the high performance level.  BC Freestyle is very excited to announce that several BC freestyle ski athletes have qualified for the 2012/13 Canadian Freestyle Ski Team and the newly developed Talent Team based out of the Whistler Sport Center.  

BC Freestyle is seeking applications for the position of Head Mogul Coach for the 2012-13 BC Freestyle Ski Team. The posting is available at the following link:

Very warm conditions made skiing difficult for half pipe skiers at the World Ski Invitational on Blackcomb Mountain Sunday. Despite this BC Freestyle Ski Teams Hunter Visser stepped it up to make the final and finish 8 for the day.  This is a huge achievement for the Penticton skier.  National Ski Team member Mike Riddle (Squamish) was in top spot with his team members Matt Margetts (Penticton) in 11th and Justin Dorey (Vernon) who qualified 1st end up in 12th position. 

BC Freestyle Skiers are representing at the World Ski Invitational in Whistler this week.  Highlights from todays qualification for slopestyle were BC Skiers Noah Morrison (3rd) and Max Heard (6th) who in a very competitive field qualified for the finals through the back door.  Other skiers from BC in the Slopestyle final tomorrow will be Joe Schuster, Yuki Tsubota and Emma Whitman.
